Two Boys

When you look at these pictures you might think that the only things that these two have in common is that they are boys, they like to play with trains, and they love to run. Although those are all so true there is more to the story.
These two little boys have the same name, Joshua. They are the first born children of there parents.
They are both 2 years old. They also
share the same wonderful Aunt and Uncle.
These two boys were at a graduation dinner for their common Aunt and Uncle last friday. I went to the dinner with all intentions to have my camera primarily on the graduates. However, these two cute little boys stole my cameras attention. This was the product of these two boys in one room.
This little Girl was wishing so bad that she had the skills to run too!
We had a great time celebrating the graduates and watching these two guys play all night long!

My Sister the Graduate

This beautiful  little girl is my Sister! She is graduating this Saturday from High School and I can't believe it. I am so bummed that my family and I will not be able to make her graduation. My little Sister resides in Dallas. We were just out there 2 weeks ago for a Wedding.
We stayed with my sister and the rest of my Dallas family for 5 days.We celebrated with her early while we were out there. We gave her a graduation gift , told her we were so proud of her, and gave her quality time. I was also honored when she requested that I take her Graduation pictures, so that she could have one to send with her announcements.
We chose to take the pictures on the family Ranch. The house is made out of brick & there is a pond out back , which provided great backgrounds. I  also added some props to go with graduation theme and  with a pretty face the photo shoot a success!

Franesha we are so proud of you! We know that you will be successful at whatever you do because you have heart, determination, smarts, God & beauty won't let you down!

Another Wedding

Another Wedding in the memory book & yet another wedding that Mr. Wonderful was apart of the bridal party! It was also a perfect wedding to travel to because it was in my Dad's city, Dallas lovely Texas! It was also  great because my Dad & StepMom insisted on us leaving the kids with them so that we could enjoy ourselves. We definitely enjoyed seeing our friend Wed, catching up with friends, and of course dancing!

Mother's Day Recap

Mother's Day is still pretty new to me as a Mother. I feel so honored everyday to Mother my 1 and 2 year old. Being that my kids are so young I am always curious to what my husband has planned for me. I was especially curious this Mother's Day because we were out of town for a wedding & visiting my Family(My Dad, Step-Mom, and Siblings) in Texas!

The morning of Mothers Day. I woke up to my husband giving me a kiss and wishing me a Happy Mother''s Day. He then handed me this letter:

Jonnique,
I want to wish you a happy Mother’s Day.  With all my heart I truly believe that you are the best mother in the world.  The way you love, take care of, protect, teach, and encourage our children is amazing.  I am so glad that you are my wife and the mother of my children (My Babymomma)!  As proverbs 31 says about the good mother, “She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.  Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:  Many woman do noble things, but you surpass them all.”  Those words perfectly describe you baby.  Thank you for being a tremendous woman of God, a wonderful wife, and an incredible mother.
I know that we cannot celebrate Mother’s Day on the actually date this year because we are in Texas.  Therefore, I have planned for the 28th to be your Mother’s Day.  I know that you work the night before, but I will have Mimi CafĂ© breakfast for you when you get home.  Then, when you wake up, you and me and the kids can go to the park for a late lunch picnic.  Or we can do something else if that is what you want.  It is totally up to you.  Then, we can head back home and spend some time together with the family.  I figured we can feed the kids and put them down, and I will go get us whatever you want for dinner.  We can eat dinner just the two of us, drink some wine, and enjoy ourselves.  After dinner, I was hoping to enjoy some frozen yogurt with you and watch a movie.  And the best part is, I will let you pick whatever movie you want to see.  After all, it is your day.  I will also give you a nice back rub during the movie.  I hope that sounds like some good plans to honor you for being a great mother.  If not, and you want to do something else please let me know.  My heart is to serve you and let you do whatever you want as you celebrate Mother’s Day.
You are so loved by your husband, son and daughter!
Happy Mother’s Day,
Wes, JJ, and JoJo.
Along with this letter he gave me a stainless steel coffee mug! Not just any mug but one with a stainless steel straw!!! I love drinking my coffee with a straw:)

We then went to Church with my Dad & family. After Church we went to a great Seafood Restraunt, where they said it was going to be a 2.5 hour wait. We took this time to talk & of course take pictures!
,
It was JoJo's 1st Mother's Day!
The wait ended up only being 45 minutes! The food & company was great while inside the restraunt. My husband said a great prayer honoring my StepMom & me and my Dad covered the bill!
My Mothers Day Salmon
One time during the dinner I looked up at my kids and just took in the moment. I love being a mother!
What a Sweet Mother's Day!
To my surprise when we flew back on Tuesday night my husband had these flowers waiting for me!
Part II of Mother's Day To Be Continued....So excited for my Picnic!
