WIWW: World Champions

I would be lying if I started this post by saying that I have always been a S.F. Giants fan! I am currently living and was born and raised in the Bay Area. I have always known about the Giants because my Grandfather was a big fan when he was alive. My husband  has also always been a S.F. Giant fan. Since the Giants games are always on in my house I have gotten to know the team a bit, or ALOT. I went to my first Giants game on this post. I am now an official fan! My husband stated that he loves that I am now an official fan. He feels that our common interest brings us even closer!
With all this being said, it was a big weekend for our household. We have been glued to our T.V., the gyms T.V's, and car radio(when not at home). This last Sunday was the Biggest Game and it was also church day. We went to church in the morning and then watch the game later that afternoon. My whole family wore S.F Giants gear to church...yes to church! It was so fun and our fellow church members thought so too, as we wore our Orange,Grey, Black, and White proud.
What I Wore:
Hat: New York & Company Shirt &Skirt: Target
Earrings: Target Purse&Watch: Coach(Birthday Gifts!!!)

Time at the Patch

When I think about Seasons I love I think of Fall!

When I think of Fall I think of pumpkins!

When I think of pumpkins I think of pumpkin patches.

When I think of pumpkin patches I think of family fun!

We took our family trip to the patch last week.

It was in the middle of the week and in the morning!

This meant we almost had the whole patch to ourselves!

The kids loved looking at all the pumpkins.

It took them both a little time to warm up, but when they did they loved running and climbing over the pumpkins.

I loved seeing their eyes as they looked at all the beautiful orange pumpkins.

I also loved their reactions once they seen the patch had rides too!

We ALL had fun riding the rides!

The kids could of stayed there all day.

Maybe we could of too!?

It was time for lunch so we said goodbye to the pumpkins!

Another great family memory in the book and now on the blog!

They are My Sunshines

Mr. Wonderful, Boy, and Girl are truly the brightest sunshines in my life. When I seen this painting on pinterest I wanted to make one for my family. I love to sing this song to my kids and husband. When everything in the world can seem grey they brighten my day.

I am in love with chevron print and browns right now, so I incorporated it into my painting.

I used :

4 colors of Acrylic Paint(JoAnns $1.99/each)

1 Canvas(50% off at JoAnns)

3 of my paint brushes

A pencil

Any suggestions on where I should place it in our home?

I will leave you all with the sweet lyrics:

You are my sunshine

My only sunshine

You make me happy

When the skies are grey

You'll never know dear

How much I love you

So please don't take

My Sunshine

Away

The Red Chair

Yes, this post is about a red Cars chair. A red chair that the Boy received from his Grandparents 2 Christmases ago!

It looked liked it was love at first sit. We were not completely sure if the boy would love sitting in it for long.

It has been the Boys' go to chair for milk time, cartoon time, sport watching time, and as you can see, lounging time!

Over the last five months of the Girl being mobile she has tried to declare it her chair. Needless to say the Boy is not handing it down easy. He is about to out grow it and I just can't believe it!

He has literally grew on this chair over the last 2 years. If this chair had eyes it would of captured not only the Boys' growth but our family's growth. I will forever remember this chair and it will always carry sentiment in our hearts.

I guess this post is more than me talking about a red chair but me being mindful of a sweet thing. I am taking time to cherish a simple thing that will be a big memory in the years to come!

My Baby Brother is a Grown Man!?

Who is this handsome young man? My little brother! He turned 23 the other week and I can't believe it!
I remember when the car arrived in the driveway with my Mom & her newborn 23years ago.
I was only 7 years old but I remember it like it was yesterday. He is the only sibling that I remember distinctly seeing his gradual growth, because he is the baby of the family.
This baby now has a foot size way bigger than mines and has a black belt!
I call my own Son his name all the time (on accident) because he reminds me of my brother when he was his age.
I can't believe my baby brother is a man. A man that I am very much proud of and love so much!
It was nothing but a joy to go out for dinner and celebrate his life, last weekend with family and friends!
We enjoyed him and each other over Pasta, Soup, Salad, and Cake!
As we ate, laughed, sung, and talked loud I realized that my baby brother has been a man for a while.
I think I am just fully accepting it now.
I am excited to see his dreams and aspirations fall into place. I know that God has great and mighty plans for his future.
It will be as much of a joy to see him grow into an older man.
Despite his age, strength, and shoe size he will always be my baby brother!

Angel Chicken

Are you looking for a fancy looking chicken dish?
Are you also looking for a dish that can be made in a crockpot? Angel Chicken is the dish you are looking for and I made it the other night! It was delicious & the family thought so too!!!
Ingredients:
5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
2 Boxes of Mushrooms
1/4 cup of Butter
1/2 of a 8 ounce Onion and Chive Cream Cheese
1 can of Cream of Mushroom
1 packet of dry Italian Dressing
1/2 cup of dry white wine(optional)
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Add in italian dressing packet.
Stir in soup ...
and cream cheese until it combines and melts.
Cut up 1 of the packages of mushrooms.
And add.
Add the wine...if you want.
Place the other package of mushrooms on the bottom of crockpot.
Place washed chicken on top of mushrooms.
Pour sauce on top of chicken.
Cover & Cook on low for 5 hours.
I served it over Angel Hair Pasta and with my Cranberry & Walnut Green-beans!
